Taurus inspection sprays are used as a low-cost inspection method for checking material defects such as hairline cracks, surface porosity and leaks in non-porous materials such as metals, plastics and ceramics.
The inspection process is carried out in six stages:
1. Apply Weld Cleaner A to pre-clean the test surface.
2. Apply Dye Penetrant B to the surface being tested.
3. Remove excess penetrant.
4. Apply Developer C to the surface being tested.
5. Inspect the tested area for surface breaks/cracks.
6. Clean the tested area once inspection is completed.
