The iWELD TIG DC 200A HF inverter is a robust, generator-friendly machine designed and manufactured for operation under demanding industrial conditions. The advanced power input system will detect and handle a voltage drop or a spike of up to 15%. This will not only safeguard the machine against damage resulting from erratic power supply, but will also ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation. The two main built-in functions, pulse welds and high frequency ignition, ensure professional ease of welding and high-quality welds. The pulse function facilitates control over the welding process and prevents burn-through on the workpiece.  The high frequency ignition creates a very soft start arc and maximum arc control. This obviates the need to touch the workpiece with the tungsten electrode.  Both functions have a great advantage when welding thin material.
