In case of wire-spitting during the welding process, a foot control allows current increase resulting in rapid temperature increase. Decreasing the current output allows continuation of a weld seem. Using a foot control adds to welding efficiency, reduces difficulties during the welding process and improves welding quality.

The iWELD TIG 200i AC/DC PULSE inverter is a robust, generator-friendly machine designed and manufactured for operation under demanding industrial conditions. The advanced power input system will detect and handle a voltage drop or a spike of up to 20%. This will not only safeguard the machine against damage resulting from erratic power supply, but will also ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation. The two main built-in functions, pulse welds and high frequency ignition, ensure professional ease of welding and high-quality welds. The pulse function facilitates control over the welding process and prevents burn-through on the workpiece. The high frequency ignition creates a very soft start arc as well as maximum arc control. This obviates the need to touch the workpiece with the tungsten electrode. Both functions have a great advantage when welding thin material. The iWELD TIG 200i AC/DC PULSE inverter’s selection panel allows welding with either AC or DC current – in AC mode for aluminium welding or in DC mode for all steel and steel alloy materials. It has good static characteristics and their dynamic performance is equally good.
