MINIPAK HOSE FITTINGS

Taurus MINIPAK hose fittings are used with portable cylinder gas equipment with a nut thread of 1/4” and tail pieces to fit 6mm gas hose.

TAURUS MINIPAK BULLNOSE NUTS AND STEMS

TAURUS bullnose nuts and stems are precision engineered and manufactured from high-quality brass.  Resulting from disconnection and reconnection of regulators from and to gas cylinders, bullnose nuts and stems wear out over time. In order to ensure secure fitting of the regulator to the gas cylinder valve, the following check procedure should be followed:

• Threads should not be stripped or worn and the nut should screw in freely.
• The hexagonal edges of the bullnose nut should be sharp ensuring a secure spanner grip to tighten the nut.
• The stem should have no flaws or markings. If so, it will not fit flush in the cylinder valve resulting in gas leakage.
