The Taurus TIGMASTER 250-PRO COLD DC PULSE inverter is a robust machine designed and manufactured for operation under demanding industrial conditions. The advanced power input system will detect and handle a voltage drop or a spike of up to 15%. This will not only safeguard the machine against damage resulting from erratic power supply, but will also ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation. Added to the advantages of the advanced IGBT technology inverted power supply, the machine has good dynamic characteristics and welding quality and ease of control. It offers various welding functions including DC TIG, pulsed TIG, MMA and TIG cold welding.

TIG cold welding provides microsecond pulses that eliminate heat discoloration and warping on ultra-thin metals under 1mm. In contrast, standard TIG DC pulse cycles between high and low amperage to maintain a stable puddle and control penetration on thicker materials (1mm to 6mm+) without burning through.
