The iWELD TIG DC 180A inverter is a robust, generator-friendly machine designed and manufactured for operation under demanding industrial conditions. The advanced power input system will detect and handle a voltage drop or a spike of up to 25%. This will not only safeguard the machine against damage resulting from erratic power supply, but will also ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation. The high frequency ignition ensure professional ease of welding, high-quality welds and creates a very soft start arc and maximum arc control. This obviates the need to touch the workpiece with the tungsten electrode.  This offers great advantage when welding thin material.
